In October
1996, Mr. Xi Shihen, deputy principal, had a trip to the States
with the delegation organized by China Education Association for
International Exchange. There, they visited various types of educational
institutions.

|
Between July
and August, three students headed by Ms. Mu Qiyun, an English teacher,
visited schools in the States.
|

In September,
1998, Ms. Luo Peiming, Principal, visited elementary and secondary
schools in Russia as a member of the Municipal Education and Research
Institution Delegation.

In June 1999,
Mr. Xi Shihen, deputy principal, visited Arden School in U.K., which
set a solid foundation for the later establishment of school links.

|
|

Sponsored by
AFS program, Ms. Zhu Ping spent ten months as an exchange teacher
in Albany, New York.

In September 2000,
Ms. Li Guyu and Hu Jieru, students of WFLMS had a one-year in Germany,
sponsored by AFS (America Field Service) Program. |

In October, 1999,
Ms. Jiang Zhiyi, an English teacher, attended a two-month teacher
training course in Britain, to develop her capability of language
teaching. |

In June 2000,
Ms. Luo Peiming visited several primary and secondary schools in U.S.A.
and Canada as a member of the educational delegation of Xu Hui District.
They shared ideas with local educational professionals on issues both
concerned about. |

Since August,
2000, Ms. Wu Daquan worked in New York State, America for an academic
year, sponsored by AFS Program. |
