On Apr. 29th,
1999, the school received a delegation of Communist Party£¬India.

On Sep.28th,
1999, Mr. Fredes, Principal of Green. Wave Middle School, Melbourne,
Australia came for a visit. The two parties shared ideas with a
focus on secondary school education.

On oct.5th,
1999, accompanied by Mr. Wang Maogong, Deputy Director of Educational
Bureau of Xuhui District, Shanghai, a Swiss education delegation

On oct.6th,
1999, headed by Pei Xueming, Sun Dongfan, Jiang Zhiyi and Xu Yunlong,
120 students of our school attended the 15th anniversary celebration
of Friendly Exchanges Program between Xuhui District and Mizusono,
Japan.

On oct.11th,
1999, Dr Peter de Zwart from a middle school in New Zealand came
and had informal discussions with some students.

On oct. 14th,
1999 witnessed the visit of Dr Donnie Tangelos, Dean of International
Department of St. Mark College, Vermont, USA. Both sides had constructive
discussions on improvement in teaching methods and concepts. |

On the afternoon of Nov.
1th, 1999, a drama group from England put up wonderful performances
in the school theater. Teachers from other schools also enjoyed the
performance. After the performances, the visitors gave lectures to
