Luo Peiming:
  Female , secondary school German teacher with superfine professional qualification.
She graduated
 
 


 

from German Specialties of Western European Languages Department of Beijing University with a bachelor degree in 1964. In September of the same year, she became a teacher of the Middle School affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University. In 1988, Madam Luo was appointed principal of the school. She has been to Germany many times and has taught Chinese language and culture in both middle schools and universities there. Since August,1996, Madam Luo has been Principal of Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School. She was awarded Model Worker of Shanghai in 1989 and Shanghai Superfine Principal in 2001. In 2003, Madam Luo was awarded The 3rd National Gardener Prize for Primary & Middle School Foreign Language Teachers. Her main teaching reference books and treatises are as follows:

Xi Shiheng:
  Male, secondary school English teacher with senior professional qualification. He graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a bachelor degree as an English major in 1967. In July 1970, he started his work as an English teacher in Fenling Middle School. In 1982, he was transferred to work as a teacher in the Training Department in the Teachers' Further Education Academy Xuhui District, and later on was promoted to be an English research fellow of the Teaching and Research Section and deputy director of the Training Department in Academy. In 1992 he was conferred the Gardener Award in Xuhui District. In 1995, he gave lectures on the overall review of English for senior high school students at Shanghai Education Television Station. His work, English Self-study with Tutoring & Overall Review of Senior High School English was published by Shanghai Science and Technology Publishing House. In 1996, he was assigned to be Deputy-principal of WFLMS.


 
Zhu Jianhua:
  
Female, secondary school English teacher with senior professional qualification. In 1978, she graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a bachelor degree and majored in English language and literature. In 1986 she got her Teacher Qualification Certificate after she finished one-year study in Singapore Institute of Education. From 1978 to 1995 she worked in the Middle School affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University. During this period she worked as head of English Department, associate dean and deputy-principal. Many awards have been presented to her as the Gardener Award in Hongkou District, a citation for merit of SFLU, the first award of Zijiang Education Fund for Teachers. In August 2001 she started her work in WFLMS as a deputy-principal. As one of the main contributors of the English textbooks for Junior high school students for the first stage of the curriculum reform, she was also the host of several education programs at Shanghai People's Radio Station. The works of which she joined in the translation and compilation include ABC of Spoken English for Middle School Students, A Collection of English Extra-curriculum Activities, Look, Listen & Learn, Useful Expressions in Bilingual Classes.
     
Li Xiaoying:
  Female, secondary school Maths teacher with intermediate professional qualification. She graduated from Mathematics Education Department of Shanghai Normal University in 1997 and started working at WFLMS in 1997. She was once form master and is now deputy director of Students Affairs' Office. She won Excellent Teacher on Probation in Xuhui District in 1997. Her thesis "Probe into Education of Talented Students" was awarded the third prize in Xuhui Competition in Thesis on Ethic Education.
   
   
   









  
Yao Jun:
  Male, secondary school Maths teacher with senior professional qualification. He graduated from Maths Department of Anhui Teachers' University in 1976. In 1992, he began teaching in Zhangjiang Middle School. In 1996, he became a member of World Foreign Language Middle School. Now he is the assistant director of the Administration Department. His essays which were published in some provincial magazines are as follows:

Xu Yunlong:
Male, secondary school chemistry teacher with senior professional qualification. He graduated from Shanghai Education College as a chemistry major, and completed advanced studies for senior-grade teachers in the Chemistry Department of East China Normal University. He once worked in No.1 Middle School attached to Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai WeiYu Middle School. In 1998, he started to work in Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School. The students he tutored have won grand awards in city-wide chemistry competitions and East China Cup Chemistry Competitions. His main essays are:
