Computers

　　The three computer-rooms are equipped with a total of 154 computers to meet the needs of ICT lessons. Each teachers' office is provided with two computers, which adds up to more than two hundred computers on the campus. The school network management center connects all the computers in the offices and classrooms. Each computer has access to Internet.

Multi-function Room

　　The multi-functional room seats a capacity of 208, with an LCD system, computerized broadcasting system, video and DVD players, and an overhead projector. The room proves to be suitable for various functions, for example, speech forum, seminar, movie theater, and recreational performance. Two video cameras send live signals of activities held here to all classrooms.

Multi-media Classroom

　　The multi-media classroom integrated all media facilities to enhance teaching. The LCD system, a big screen, a computer, a video player, a DVD player, and an overhead projector provide convenience to teachers catering for their teaching courses of different types.

Library

　　The library, located on the right side of the classroom building, is composed of students' reading room, the stack room and teachers' reference room. The students' reading room can seat 84 people. It has over 2000 volumes of on-shelf books including over 500 volumes of English originals. 72 kinds of periodicals and 12 kinds of newspapers are subscribed every year. The stack room houses a collection of 30,000 volumes of books, all accessible to students and staff. The teachers' reference room, with an area of 50m2, offers over 200 types of reference books and over 50 kinds of key periodicals on teaching and research.

Closed-circuit Control Center

　　Equipped with four sets of signal sources, the room vitalizes a two-way communication with and exert control over 36 classrooms by computerization. Teachers in classrooms are enabled to control the signal sources from the center, including VCR, VCD, DVD, PC, and to execute instructions of play, stop, pause, fast forward, rewind, and mouse operation by remote control. The center materialize the function of modern audio-visual education by way of centralized management of resources.

Accommodation Department

　　The school's accommodation building is located at 57 Guilin Street West, the western campus of the school. The Department boasts of its 24 rooms on 4 floors, each room spacious enough for six boarders. Inside, there installed sets of combined closet and desk. All rooms are air-conditioned. Professional teachers are employed to run strict management, ensure proper environment for evening self-study. In order to enrich the students' after-school activities, a half-an-hour news program is shown every evening and ball games are organized to help the students with all-round development.
